I stumbled into my first “real” yoga class in 2018, when I had just moved to Barcelona to study. I was there for all the wrong reasons. Like most people, I was drawn to the physical part of it and thought it could be another way to exercise and get fit.
When I became curious about its philosophy, things gradually started to change, and I was able to heal my relationship with myself and my body. After years of depression, anxiety, and an eating disorder, yoga taught me to respect and heal my body.
In 2023, I completed my first teacher training. I’m certified in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga, and I’ve also spent years exploring Ayurveda and yogic philosophy. Yoga has helped me a lot in my own life. Not in a perfect way, but in a way that’s made me more aware and steadier.
I don’t see yoga as something that’s meant to fix you. There’s already enough pressure to become something else or to constantly improve. For me, yoga is more of a tool. Something you can use to better understand yourself. The physical practice is just where we start. A way to pay attention.
In my teaching, I work with movement, breath, and a more somatic approach. We look at patterns, how the body moves, what shows up, and how you respond to it. Not to fix it, just to see it more clearly.
More than anything, I want to help people get to know themselves, their body, their patterns, and how they relate to themselves.
Outside of yoga, you’ll usually find me exploring new places, connecting with the world around me, listening to music, cooking food, dancing barefoot, or planning my next adventure.
