Hello, I am AnitaYoga has been one of the greatest teachers of my life.
I stumbled into my first yoga class the same way many people do, looking for a new way to move my body.
What I didn't expect was what came after. As I got curious about the philosophy behind the practice, something started shifting. Slowly, and then all at once. After years of struggling with my relationship to myself and my body, yoga became the thing that helped me find my way back. Not by fixing me, but by helping me understand what was already there.
That's also how I teach.
My teaching is rooted in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga, shaped by years of exploring Ayurveda and yogic philosophy. I take the roots of this practice seriously, the tradition it comes from, the wisdom it carries. At the same time, I want it to feel simple and real. Something you can actually use in your everyday life.
I don't see yoga as something that's meant to fix you. There's already enough pressure to become something else or to constantly improve. For me, yoga is a tool , a way to pay attention, to notice your patterns, and to understand how you move through the world.
The physical practice is just where we start.
In my teaching, we work with movement, breath, and awareness. We look at how the body moves, what shows up mentally and physically, and how you respond to it. Not to fix it, just to see it more clearly.
Outside of yoga, you'll usually find me exploring new places, connecting with the world around me, listening to music, cooking food, dancing barefoot, or planning my next adventure.
